Virtual teams often struggle with communication across teams. Elsevier, global information analytics business, had the chance to come together in person for a team building workshop for two half days in Amsterdam. The goal of the workshop was to establish more empathy and understanding to help both internal and external collaboration and build a brighter future as a collective. A huge shift was recognized from the start of day one to close. A refreshed, energized team that is hopeful for the future of their department and organization as a whole. And most importantly, everyone is committed to more understanding, trust and collaboration with their peers.
